We hold informal peer support groups at the West Sacramento Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall on the last Thursday of every month. Check our calendar for more details!

Delivering food to stations and events for first responders and veterans to enjoy and connect with one another and our board/ volunteers. Our team is seeking food handlers training and certification to be able to provide quality food to responders and veterans.

We want to host a paint night at with the West Sacramento VFW Hall! Use the contact us tab to let us know if you are interested in this event and what types of paintings you might like to see available! We'd love to hear what you guys want to see for this event! (Expected to occur in the fall)

We hope to help first responders and veterans come together with their units, shifts, or any group of their choosing to go on group trips centered around peer support and building hobbies and skills that provide them with positive outlets and ways to connect with others without needing to connect solely through their work.

We want to host fun events that aren't focused on just directly addressing mental health or finding a setting to open up to those also involved. Having fun and connecting with others over shared hobbies and interests is just as important to your health and wellbeing as receiving care!

CFFRV is currently focused on informal peer support groups and activities. We do not provide mental health care but can connect people with resources. Keep an eye out for a resources page in the future for vetted resources we trust to connect you with!
